Start here: sort the offer before the details

A search result can mix together a visit, a prescription, a pharmacy and a product. Separate them first.

Name the thing being offered

Is the page offering a medical visit, a made-to-order medicine, a chemical, or plain information? A chemical is often labelled “research use only”, a seller’s tag saying it is meant for lab work, not for people. Each of these is a different kind of offer.

Ask who makes the medical decision

If the whole visit is a set questionnaire and you cannot put further questions to anyone, it misses the model rules the state medical boards wrote. Under those rules, someone must be able to ask you about your health, and you must be able to ask questions back.

Get the pharmacy name

According to the FDA, someone getting care online may have no idea which compounding pharmacy, meaning a pharmacy that mixes medicines to order, prepared and shipped the product.

Ask for that name before discussing payment.
